In early 2012 I was heading toward graduation and during the entirety of my studies, there was no doubt in my mind what I was going to create for my Senior Thesis project. I wanted to design my own snowboard company.
I have loved snowboarding, as well anything to do with the snow really, since I was a little kid. Skis and snowboards always fascinated me as an interesting canvas. When I finally was presented with the chance to start my own company, after some soul-searching, it finally connected how I would merge two of my favorite things; art and snowboards.
I named the company Xhibition Snowboard Company, with the tagline, "More than..." The logo was a tweaked ampersand representing that it's not only a snowboard. I rooted my designs stylistically from movements in art history. The final products were pieces that I was as happy to display as I would have been to ride them.
